About Us
Hello,
My name is Sven, and I'm an Air-Cooled FREAK. I mean to say, that I just love VWs that are air-cooled. So, after talking with a few VW-freak friends who also love their classic air-cooled v-dubas, we said, "Hey, let's start a Club!!!"
We knew that there were other VW Clubs in the area, but, we wanted a group of our own to hang out with, people who appreciated and supported the local air-cooled scene. Thus was born S.P.A.C.E. - The St. Petersburg Air-Cooled Enthusiasts!

What we've ended up with is a Club that produces several VW events each year... The Wild Weekend, Bugs-on-the-Pier and the all-VW Convoy, VWs Over The Skyway, now in its 8th year. Thank you friends and members who make it all possible!
We don't collect money for dues or put out monthly newsletters, we are about having a good time, and helping each other, via our network. We meet in the Burger King parking lot, on US19 and 110th Avenue N., in Pinellas Park, each Saturday, 8pm 'till 10pm, for "pure unadulterated Volkswagen Obsession!" You're welcome to "join us", if you'd like, just drop us an E-mail and give us yours, and we'll be happy to include ya in our ranks.
